Employment Procedure

If there are any openings for positions in the Adventist Media Center or any of the ministries it serves, they may be posted on the Jobline found as a dropdown menu under this "Employment" section.

All prospective employees desiring Adventist Media Center employment will complete a formal application for employment. The Adventist Media Center reserves the right to request a post-hiring physical examination as allowed by law and, if it does so, it is responsible for the expense. Applicants may also be tested, interviewed and screened by the Human Resources Department. No representative of the employer, other than written documentation from the Board of Trustees, has the authority to enter into any employment agreement at any time during employment process (including the setting of remuneration rates) with the prospective employee.

The Adventist Media Center and the ministries it serves require that all employees have active membership in the Seventh-day Adventist Church. (See "Policies" under the "Employment" dropdown menu for more information.) First preference for all positions are given to those who have experience and/or educational training in the stated position. All positions are considered "open" until the position is officially filled. The Adventist Media Center does not have the ability to help people who wish to seek employment coming from other countries outside of the United States who do not already have permission to work and/or permanent resident status in the United States.

If you are interested in being considered for possible openings at the AMC or a ministry, please click on the link below (or go to the "Application" under the pull-down menu in this "Employment" section) to fill out an application form. You will need to download it, fill it out, and return to the Human Resources Department of the Adventist Media Center by fax or mail (faxing is faster). Another suggestion is to fill it out, scan it, and send by email. Although not required, you may also send your resume. If an opening should occur, your information will be sent by the HR Department to the respective department or ministry for possible consideration. The department or ministry will contact you directly if they are interested in considering your application.
